Test a flow

Test flow in the toolbar walks the flow on the canvas, saved or not, with the same keyword matching, conditions and step logic a real run uses. Nothing is sent and nothing is saved.

Run a test

   Open the test panel

   Select Test flow. The panel replaces the step settings on the right.

   Pick the sample

   Choose Comment, DM or Story reply and type the sample text. It starts with your first keyword.

   Describe the person

   Switch The person follows you on or off and enter their tags, separated by commas.

   Read what would happen

   What would happen lists each step with the messages that would go out. Select a step in the list to select it on the canvas; steps off the path are dimmed.

Answer where the flow waits

When the flow would wait, the panel says for what. Pick one of the offered options, type the person's reply, or select No reply within to let a timeout pass. Start over clears the answers. Changing the sample also starts over.

What the test shows

• Whether the automation starts

  For example when the text contains none of the keywords, or the trigger does not start on the kind of sample picked.

• Instagram's rules

  The pause after a private reply, and messages that would fall outside the 24 hour window after delays and timeouts.

• Problems in the flow

  Paths that end because nothing is connected, empty messages and settings ChatPeak cannot run are marked as warnings.
