Analytics and metrics
Time range
Choose 7, 30 or 90 days at the top of the page. Messages and new contacts are compared with the same number of days before, shown as a percentage and a dashed line in the chart. Not every number follows the range:

- Messages and new contacts
Select either number above the chart to see its daily totals, by UTC day. Hover or tap a day for the exact values.
- Open rates
Opens per message sent, for automated DMs and for broadcasts.
- Where contacts come from
Contacts by source, such as Instagram comment, DM or CSV import.
- Automation runs
Recent runs by outcome: queued, running, waiting, succeeded, failed and cancelled.
- Automation performance
Replies, open rate, leads and status for each automation.
How the numbers are counted
| Number | Counted when |
|---|---|
| Replies | Instagram accepts an automated DM, including private replies to comments. Public replies and inbox replies are not counted. |
| Opens | Instagram reports that the person has seen the message. |
| Leads | The person sends a DM after an automation messaged them. Each run counts once. See leads and conversion tracking. |
Messages and new contacts are counted per day in UTC and are always complete. Contact sources and automation runs use the newest 500 contacts and runs, so in a busy workspace those two charts show a recent sample. Replies, opens and leads per automation are always complete.
Export
Export downloads a CSV file with every table on the page for the selected range: the key numbers with the previous period, the daily totals, contact sources, run statuses and each automation's replies, opens, open rate and leads.
